【github】モデル「Claude 3.6 Sonnet」が開発環境をどう変えるのか？

2026年2月17日、GitHub Copilot にモデル「Claude 3.6 Sonnet」（Anthropic社）が正式に統合されました。

Claude 3.6 Sonnet とは？

Anthropic 社がリリースした最新の AI モデルです。

特徴

• 知能: 前世代の最上位モデル「Opus」を上回る性能を、Sonnetのスピードで実現
• 100万トークンの巨大なメモリ: 巨大なソースコードや複雑な仕様書を、まるごと読み込ませて相談可能
• 思考: 「Adaptive Thinking（適応的思考）」により、難しいタスクには深く考え、単純なタスクには即答する賢さを実装

GitHub Copilot で使うメリット

Claudeが加わったことで「モデルの使い分け」が可能になりました。
